So we decided to go and watch a live cricket match :D T20 series.. So after the classes finished me, Zaki, Mustafa, Harris and Farhan left for the Pindi cricket stadium.. Reached around 4 pm.. i found out that no edible items ( not even water) was allowed inside the stadium.. Strange but beggars aren't choosers.. The "Tullas)" were guarding all the entrances and were searching everyone before admitting anyone in.. When my turn came this Tulla even took my pen out from my pocket and decided to keep it for himself.. Old habits really do die hard i guess :p anyways once inside it was a fish market.. But the worse of it was out seat tickets weren't the ones we thought they were.. We had accidentally bought tickets for the stand without any seating rather than the one with the seats and proper sitting arrangements including some form of shade :p Brilliant.. Well as the saying goes " marte kia na karte:" we sat down in the heat among most rowdy crowd ever without any seats sitting on the stand floor.. Amazing right? :p .. Actually yes! A word of advise.. Whenever you go to see a live cricket match choose the place with the most illiterate and rowdy crowd ever.. Pindi Boy crowd is even better :D Cuz the level of entertainment you will get there cannot be described :p Once the match started we realized this was the perfect place for us to be watching the match from.. Whenever a player would field near the stands comments and a string of abuses would ensue :p so much so that the poor guy wouldn't even stand near the boundary anymore :D haha.. interesting right?? Wrong.. The best part was yet to come :D These escorts dressed up as a teddy bear and a clowDetails n would keep popping up out of nowhere and showing off their pathetic performances :D and the people in our stands would show them various kinds of rude gestures and hurl a string of abuses in their direction :p ahaha.. Hilarious .. So during the beginning of the second innings we decided to eat something.. All we could find were stale rice twice as much as the regular ones :) but then again.. Beggars aren't choosers . Well now another funny incident happened.. Someone from the crowd found a rubber ball and decided to throw it in the ground in the middle of the match :p So the ball went soaring into the ground and landed next to the fielder in that area.. The idiot threw it back in the crowd thinking it was a sign of courtesy .. wrong :D Pakistani people as usual thought it was sensational :p haha.. so there the ball flew into the field again .. and again.. and yet again.. Until the ball boy standing a few meters away confiscated it.. What happens when you take a child's toy away and telll him he can't have it back :D yes.. That very same thing happened .. People from the stand started abusing him and threatening him in some really hilarious ways..haha.. The poor guy got real scared and threw the ball back :D a roar of victory rose among the crowd! :D Forget the match.. We got the ball back.. What more can one want! :p So the match finally finished and the next one began.. During the match i suddenly remembered that I had to do my Gyne case write up.. But the worst part was I didn't have a single history worth presenting .. That moment on all I could think of was my case write up.. I was screwed for sure this time .. So i silently kept praying while the rest of my mates enjoyed the match .. So much for a fun filled day.. Anyways it stuck me that i should focus on the match and enjoy what i have in hand rather than fret over something i couldn't control .. That raised up my spirits a bit :D It was around 11 pm when we decided to leave the stadium.. Farhan was a little adamant on leaving as he wanted to watch the match come to an end before leaving.. "Paise poore karne thay shayad " :D anyways i reached home around 12 am and dat was it .. An amazing fun filled day came to an end :)
